Amanita Design (Samorost series) is currently working on a full-scale adventure game entitled Machinarium. The new project features hand-drawn art and backgrounds, but retains the point-and-click interface that fans of the series have grown accustomed to.

Adventure Gamers had also revealed that the world is populated by robots, and players can expect to interact with a small inventory during the course of the game.

Machinarium will be released sometime in the second half of 2008.

A new game by the Samorost people! I can't wait already =D Still a year to go, though...

That is just beautiful artwork. What a lonely, desolate world... perfect for a lone fighter pilot to make his last stand against the alien horde.

Still, it'll be good as a non-shooter too :)

Simply gorgeous. I look forward to this one, though I may forget about it a few times before it comes out ^_^.

Graphics incredible and nice story but "pixel hunter" is not funny at all.

Amazing artwork again. Seems more atmospheric than Samorost and it definitely don't look like a freebie to me... Telltale perhaps?
